How we handle the personal data you send through this website.
Who we are
Salvador Ship Supplier, a ship chandler in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: comercial@salvadorshipsupplier.com.br.
What we collect
When you send a request for quotation we receive what you type or attach: your name, email, phone, company, the vessel details, your message and your files. We also receive the page you sent it from, the website that brought you here and the campaign parameters in the link, if any.
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. We only see totals, such as pages visited, referring sites, country and device type.
If you accept on the website notice, we also use PostHog, from PostHog Inc., in the United States, to see how the pages are used: page views, clicks, device type, approximate country and a recording of your visit, without anything you type into the fields. Your IP address is only used to estimate the country and is not stored. The data is kept on servers in the United States. Without your acceptance none of this is collected. You can withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page; your choice and the PostHog data are kept in your browser's local storage and are deleted when you withdraw.
Why we use it
To answer your request for quotation and to follow up on it and on any supply that results from it. The legal bases are the procedures preliminary to a contract requested by you and our legitimate interest in following up a commercial contact (Brazilian General Data Protection Law, LGPD, article 7, items V and IX).
Who else handles it
The companies that host this website and our customer management system, acting on our behalf, possibly on servers outside Brazil, and Cloudflare, which protects and delivers this website and may process connection data outside Brazil. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting supply, and for the periods required by law.
Storage in your browser
During your visit, the browser keeps the campaign parameters of the link that brought you here (session storage). They stay only in your browser.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold your data and to access, correct, anonymise, delete or port it, among the other rights in article 18 of the LGPD. Write to comercial@salvadorshipsupplier.com.br.
